I hold a PhD in physics (Dr. rer. nat., Heidelberg) and am a principal software engineer in cryptography, blockchain and network security.
I came to crypto taxes through years of first-hand experience, and saw how tedious the filing becomes. Many cases were too complex for conventional software, and even a clean import still left manual work to do. So I built my own crypto-tax software. I use it together with my experience to repair trading histories with gaps and to handle the complex cases conventional software cannot manage on its own.
Crypto tax work involves financial products, blockchain technology, and software development. I have deep experience in each. I enjoy solving difficult technical problems, and I like helping people with their crypto taxes.
I am not a tax advisor. My work is calculation, methodology, citations, and audit trail. Filing tax returns and representing you before the tax authority is tax advisor work, which is not included in my services.
